Ancora High School is an applicant for regional accreditation.
- Ancora High School has earned accreditation by Cognia™, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers.Cognia, formerly AdvancED, nationally recognizes schools that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation that meets the needs of learners, and effective leadership. Cognia is the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). Cognia is working in over 80 countries and accrediting 36,000 institutions that serve and support nearly 25 million students and five million educators every day. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission means that the school is accredited, and that Ancora High School is recognized across the nation as a school that meets Cognia Standards of Quality, and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement.

Ancora High School’s core courses may be used for student-athletes during their initial eligibility status with the NCAA.
Texas Private Schools Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC)
Texas Private Schools Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC) – Ancora is a TEPSAC approved institution. ACTS and Cognia serve on the Commission, therefore, represent accredited schools respectively. TEPSAC was formerly a department of the Texas Education Agency. Through legislative action, TEPSAC serves as the approval commission for Private Schools in Texas, once those private schools receive accreditation. TEPSAC accreditation provides for seamless transition between ancora and public schools in Texas. Ancora High School’s identifier number through TPSAC is 165-181-001. A school identifier in Texas is used to identify a school’s physical location, therefore, since Ancora High School’s Headquarters Office is physically located in the County of Midland (Texas), the 165 identifies the county; the 181 identifies the school district in which the Headquarters Office is located, in this case Midland Independent School District, and the 001 identifies the school itself: 165 (County) 181 (District) 001 (Campus).
